The Bandera Music Fest is our yearly fund raising event featuring local music artists from the Texas Hill Country.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support, encourage and empower local high school music students by providing scholarship funds for education, instruments, and essential equipment, preserving and advancing our community’s proud musical legacy. We are dedicated to reducing financial barriers for local music students by supporting their educational pursuits and access to instruments and equipment, while celebrating and sustaining Bandera’s longstanding musical traditions.
Our History
The Linda Wilder Musician Scholarship Fund was created in 2024 by Lind Wilder and a small group of dedicated musicians and music appreciators. The first and second Bandera Music Fests raised a combined $5,000 in scholarship funds that were awarded in the spring of 2025. The 2026 Bandera Music fest was a n huge success with donors raising $7,000 in scholarship funds awarded at the Bandera High School Scholarship Night on May 12, 2026.
